Hello friends,
If you have been to our website recently, you may have noticed a lack of touring dates on our schedule. There is a bitter-sweet reason for this. We, as Article One, have decided that we will no longer be touring. This was a decision we came to as a band, and it was completely amicable. There were a number of factors that came into consideration — the rigors of road life, being away from loved ones, and changes in the industry — which played a large part in our decision. While we don’t want to rule out the possibility of playing together again in the future, we will be focusing on new projects and careers away from the music industry.
We want to sincerely thank everyone who supported us over the years. We’ve met so many amazing people from all over the world, and we are grateful for and humbled by all the generosity and hospitality that we experienced. To everyone who opened up their homes to us, cooked a meal for us, or helped us get our van back on the road, or supported us in other ways, thank you. We truly could not have done it without you.
A special thank you to our fans. It has been our pleasure performing and leading worship for you, and we hope that our music has been an inspiration to you. We want to thank you all so much for coming out to the shows and supporting us! We love you all.
We also want to thank our past band-mates: Nolan Verner, Marty Lewis and Mark Laidman. It was a pleasure traveling around with you guys.
Lastly, but most importantly, we want to thank the Lord for His faithfulness. He kept us safe on the road for 7 years, blessed us with amazing friendships, and gave us the opportunity to see so much of the world. All the glory goes to Him.

Hi Matt, Nathan, and Dave
For the last few weeks you’ve been on my mind but I haven’t had a chance to email and say “hi!” so tonight I decided to look at your website and read your letter.
I’m thrilled with the decision you made. It makes sense and I’m sure your loved ones are happy to have you in one place.
You had an awesome run. Just think of the thousands of lives you impacted with the Gospel! God used you to further His Kingdom! You could’t have asked for more!
Thank you, again for the role you played in the FEB retreats. You were awesome to work with.
May God richly bless you as you walk each step of the way with Him.

I fell in love with your song “Taken by the Storm” and came across this-your website. I don’t know much about you but you seem exceptionally talented-and like really good guys-a true blessing indeed! Your ‘thank you’ was truly genuine and heart felt. Sad to hear that your no longer together but wish all of you the best in your future. May God contiue to bless you.

With all that to say… Thank-you! God wanted to use you guys in the music industry for that season of your life!
Same story here… I kept checking to see when you would be coming in the area and still hoped, but, am thankful for the chance to listen to your music and see you in concert.(this to say for many others also!)Thanks for coming to St. Cloud, MN with the Newsboys and to LIFELIGHT!! Thanks to God for working through each of your lives and the impact you have made! Thank-you!

You guys are great! I love what you do and you’s are just amazing.
I’ll miss your stuff so much and not seeing you’s at EASTERFEST again
But what you’s have acheived and done together as a band is an inspiration and encouragement to everyone!
